Tol Kouz Tol Kouz
The oldest member of the team and the owner of Mossops Tackle Shops, Tol has spent his life fishing. His father was a Russian immigrant who was ecstatic the day he found out Australian waters held Carp. As a 4 year old he was catching carp with 6 metre poles and pelican quill floats hand made by his Dad.
Tol has fished for every thing with gills in Australian waters, Marlin, Tuna, Drummer, Cod, Bass you name it. Growing up in NSW he had a passion for land based game fishing which he blended with a love of spear fishing. Having fished from the gulf to Bass Straight there are few species that he hasn't caught during his lifetime.

In 2003 he had the opportunity to visit Russia and fish the famous inland sea of Lake Baikal, Red fin and duck bill Pike were caught in large numbers on artificial lures and plastics, much to the amazement of the local Siberian fisherman.
Today Tol loves fishing for Bream, Barra and Snapper. He loves big boats and the deep blue sea, the further from land the happier he gets. Tol Fishes at least 2 days every week and sometimes more, as a late bloomer with soft plastics he is searching for the next 20 pound Snapper on plastics.

He fishes out of a 4.45 metre customized Haines Hunter Bass boat, he has owned it for many years and it is in a constant state of evolvement, after his family and his business he loves his boat best.
Peter Herbst Peter Herbst
At 26 Peter has fished South East QLD more than most people twice his age. A competent Bass fisherman, Peter loves Mackerel, Tuna and Snapper, he chases these fish in his trusty 4.9m Clark centre console. Peter uses a plastic 3.5m punt for Bass and Bream in the dams and estuaries. Peter was one of the pioneers of soft plastics for offshore snapper, with fish of 7kg regularly hitting his deck on 4kg Fireline.

Growing up in a fishing family, there is little Peter doesn't know about catching fish in Moreton Bay. He has finished in the top 3 of numerous Bass fishing competitions.
