| Our History. |
50 Years ago, Len Mossop was a barber operating out of a small shop in Cornwall Street, Annerley, Queensland. Len loved fishing, particularly beach fishing.
His enthusiasm was such that he started selling Alvey reels and beach rods out of the back of the shop. Over time the fishing tackle took over from the Barber shop and Mossops Tackle Shop Annerley was born. Mossops became an icon tackle shop and one of the best known brand names in the industry. At its peak Mossops Tackle Shops operated 6 stores in SEQ.
Today, Mossops Tackle Shop is owned by me, Tol Kouz.
I'm not a Mossop by blood, but I share a passion for this industry and a commitment to customer service.
I hope that in 50 years time the grand children of my customers remember me as fondly as my customers remember Len.
